di temukan pada ketinggian 300 s/d 1000 dpl , kebanyakan pada ranting-ranting pepohonan dan ada juga di pohon utama, mulai mengeluarkan spike pada bulan oktober dan musim berbunga pada bulan november, mengeluarkan bau yang wangi pada siang hari

untuk Chiloschista lunifera  yang di temukan di jawa memiliki corak yang berbeda (khas) dengan Chiloschista lunifera dari tempat lain , karena itu saya lebih suka dengan nama Chiloschista lunifera var. javanica atau lebih memudahkannya dengan menyebut Chiloschista javanica. Semoga bermanfaat :)
